Kalab graduated in 2002 from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business Administration and a certificate of fluency in Chinese from the Central University of the Nationalities in Beijing, China.

While attending the University of Oregon, Kalab was the recipient of numerous awards, including the W.H. Shields Academic Achievement Award, the Dean’s List and awards from the Freeman Asia Foundation.

When his undergraduate studies were completed, Kalab attended Southwestern University School of Law and graduated in 2005 with awards.

While in law school, Kalab attended International Securities Regulation seminars at the University of International Economics and Business in Beijing, China.

Kalab has extensive experience operating businesses in both the United States and in the People’s Republic of China.

He has worked with small and medium-sized businesses as well as large corporations, both in a business and legal context.
